Top Picks at Pook & Pook Auction

I had occasion to peruse the new Pook & Pook auction catalog online. There's lots of cool stuff in there and it's definitely worth a peek! I pulled out some of my favorites to feature below. You can view the entire catalog online here.
Happy Monday!
A sweet antique box in the most charming shade of apple green

These bright and bold plates feel so modern right now.

I always love an antique wallpaper box.

This collection of antique pool balls in an antique red ware bowl is so cool and would be great as a table centerpiece in a game room!

Love all the color and movement in this landscape.

This painting and the one below are by the same 20th century artist. They're spectacular-
My favorite objects in the sale!

A fabulously elegant and cozy early 20th century chair.

How beautiful is the bottle green paint on this hutch table!

And here's a wonder one drawer stand in a stand out shade of teal.

This faux marbelizing is original to the piece- probably from about 1830 or so. It's amazing because it looks like graffiti. Can't you just imagine this in a modern loft!

A lovely dry sink in a highly desirable powder blue

This cheerful green and yellow appliqué quilt would bring spice to a guest room!

Can you believe this piece of art is a functioning stove!!

The turnings on the legs of this farm table are terrific.

Of course I had to include a couple great early 20th century trade signs. A Horloger

Suuuuch a sweet late 19th century cat portrait.

The deep saturated hues of this painting, dated 1856, are superb.

Another spectacular farm table

This antique game board would look fabulous hung on the wall.

Simple and handsome antique trade sign

I love this landscape painting

A fabulous set of Federal dining chairs with olive green upholstery.

Wouldn't these be sexy upholstered in black velvet!

This antique table is over six feet long- making it perfect as a dining table

And one more gorgeous antique appliqué quilt in bold primary hues.
